The Delta Southern Railroad (DSRR) is divided into two branches and serves a variety of customers in many industries.
- The first branch begins in Monroe, LA at a Union Pacific Railroad interchange and continues to Sterlington, LA to the north 14 miles.
- The second branch begins in Tallulah, LA and continues north to Madison Parish Port and then to the Lake Providence Port in Lake Providence, LA – 37 miles.
Grain, aggregate materials, agricultural products, cotton, coal, chemicals, fertilizer, forest products, sand clay and soda ash.
DSRR is proud to work closely with three well-respected railroads and interchange partners: Kansas City Southern Railroad, North Louisiana & Arkansas, Union Pacific Railroad.
The DSRR serves two port facilities located on the mighty Mississippi River: Lake Providence Port and Madison Parish Port.
